What's in your bag?

I change my handbag every week, I get bored of them easily so I empty out my bag, then fill another one of all the contents.

This morning, I decided I didn’t want to carry my huge Brown Hobo bag, and settled on a smaller jet black Valentino one.

As I was emptying out my Hobo this morning, I noticed that I do carry ALOT of junk with me! Tons of stuff I rarely need but carry “incase I need it!”

So here’s what my contents of last weeks bag were:

+ Tissues
+ iPod Nano
+ iPod Shuffle (I use it as a USB stick now)
+ Glasses
+ Contact Lenses
+ Wallet
+ Panadol
+ Personal Mobile
+ Work Mobile
+ Umberella
+ Laptop
+ Keys
+ Bus Card
+ Nail File
+ Clear Nail Varnish
+ Vaseline for my lips
+ Post-it notes
+ Pen
+ Notebook

And here is what’s in this week’s bag:

+ Wallet
+ iPod Nano
+ iPod Shuffle
+ Keys
+ Bus Card
+ Umberella
+ Fruit
+ Personal Mobile

My bag doesn’t weight as much as it used too! My arms feel nice and light *grin*

What junk do you carry in your bag that you don’t use?

Nani the Cleaner

I woke up yesterday with one thing on my mind; CLEANING. I thought it was about time that I finally started cleaning my apartment (plus my flat mate is back after 3 weeks away on vacation!) and giving my flat mate a break of cleaning since she always does it (hell I’m still used to having a maid back home!).

I woke up around 12, and chatted with Marzouq and he was laughing his head off and the idea of me cleaning (yes it’s hard to believe!). So there I was 12:30pm on a Sunday afternoon getting ready to clean. I put my ipod {nani nano} onto her speakers and started dancing around like an idiot hehehe

My first job was to tackle the bathroom (clean the bath & shower, wash the sink, floor & toilet), then fix all the shampoo bottles & toothpastes neatly then move on to the next room. I decided to tackle the Kitchen next (clean all appliances, clean the oven & microwave, empty the fridge of food past the sell by date, brush the floor, wash the floor, clean the dining table, clean the cat’s toilet tray). I then had to take a break as I was getting mega tired so I saw that Marzouq missed called me, so I rang him back and he was killing himself laughing at me trying to clean! I was near crying and I was begging him to give me his maid for the day hehehe

I decided that I couldn’t handle all the cleaning by myself, so I called one of my friends and begged her to come round and help me {I blackmailed her by saying I’d cook dinner hehe}.

While waiting for her, I tackled the living room, the cat {whom I call Monster} was running around like an idiot because he was scared of me brushing the floor (he probably had a heart attack seeing me clean the place!). I tided up the little bit of mess there was, brushed the floor, polished the furniture, wiped the mirror, washed the floor, and then vaccumed the place to get rid of Monster’s hair balls!

Before I knew it, my friend was here… so I gave her a cloth and asked her to wipe the door handles, and to dust the place while I vaccumed the hall way and stairs (I live in an 2 floor apartment).

After 4 hrs of cleaning (me) and 30 mins (with my friend), we gave up and decided the place looked amazingly clean, so I started cooking Dinner (pasta with red pepper & chili sauce) and we went to a movie (My Super X-Girlfriend) it was a bundle of fun & cheered me up after cleaning for hours!

I came back home, and passed out, but not before calling Marzouq again to tell him of my acomplishment *yaaaay*

So thank you Marzouq for laughing at me, and not thinking I’d do it, but also for making me laugh @ the same time

I nickname him Chewy cause he keeps chewing my grandfather’s shoes & socks

So be nice to Mr.Chewy

Ananyah BSc(Hons)

Ladies & Gentleman I’m proud to announce that I have OFFICALLY graduated University… yes I’m a freekin’ geek & I’m proud of it! I’m a graduate of Computing for Business with E-Commerce.

All this year, I have been working for an Oil Company but also going to University to finish my last class which was only 2hrs per week and I sat that exam in May….. and OMFG I’m so happy!

I called my grandfather screaming while jumping up & down @ University, yes everyone probably thought I was a psychopath but can you blame me?!?!?! Then I called my boss @ work cause she was dying to know my results and she started screaming, then I called my daddy who said he was proud of me, he then passed the phone to my mom who was in the middle of a shopping mall in Champs Elysees and started screaming as well and then a few other random people heheheh and I’m still screaming!

So yah…. I have to wear my little graduation outfit for July 12th, my grandfather & parents are flying over to be there which will be so fun! Now I have to figure out what to wear (it states in the rules that we have to wear Black & White)

Anyway, it’s weird when you graduate, I don’t have to worry about that Engineering exam that was scaring me for the past year, I don’t have to worry about any more exams (except when I decide to go do my Masters) and now I can move on with my life :D

So yah….. can you tell I’m happy?!

Showcase- Piclog

There is only a few sites that ever catch my eye, and Piclog.net is one of them, I may be biased as the owner Ameen is an old friend of mine that I met when I first came to the UK, but his work is outstanding beyond belief.

The tools of his trade is a Nikon D70 camera which he carries around with him, and randomly takes pictures of whatever catches his eye

Some of my favourite photos are:

So go check his site out & tell me what you think *grin*

I want to give everyone who worried about me a huge hug and to say thank you for all the comments and emails that I recieved (even the few calls & sms!)

Wedding Aftermath

Sorry it’s taken me so long to write about the wedding! It was pretty fun, there were over 50 guys all dressed in kilts… now… in Scottish tradition, the guys who wear them are butt naked underneath, YES…. I mean BUTT NAKED!

At the end of the night when all the wedding photos were being taken, the guys lifted their kilts up, showing their butt cheeks to the entire hall… yes I saw 100 butt cheeks! Then… they turned around and showed their other manly bits much to my amusement lol I’ve never seen that many in my life :lmao: and frankly, I never want too! All I can say is that they all seriously need a good wax!

I ended up doing traditional Scottish dancing with the groom’s brother from Australia, Scottish dancing is hard work… seriously, you have to jump around, move your legs one way, your arms the other way, while keeping count of the dance steps in your head! Uffff give me an Arab wedding any day!

So other than seeing naked men and dancing to weird music, it was an fun evening!

The bride looked amazing in her dress, the groom was wearing a kilt which was weird as he’s Australian lol and the bridesmaids were wearing gold dresses with a black ribbon on their waist, very nice

Wedding Parteeeeh!

I’ve been running around like an idiot all day! I was supposed to wake up at 9am to get things ready for this evening, but of course, I got home mega late last night from work, then ended up sleeping until 1pm

So I got into the shower, washed my hair, then spent the next hour blowdrying and straightening my hair for this evening. I then popped out at 3pm to do some errands, spoke to my mom on the phone, then got my eyebrows waxed. I got them dyed as well and they look amazing if I do say so myself! I got stopped 5 times in the street asking where I got them done lol

After getting my eyebrows done, I went to Chanel and got the makeup artist there to do my makeup…. she used Grey, Blue & White on my eyes to make them mega smokey, with nude lipgloss and red tint. It brings out my eyes even more which is funky :)

So now… all that is left is to put on my Red & White outfit for the wedding tonight, and my killer 4 inch red heels and dance the night away :D

Note: It’s a guy @ work’s wedding that I’ve been invited too! It should be fun especially when the Scottish guys wear Kilts and they are butt naked underneath hahaha

So yah…. I’ll fill you in with pictures et al. tomorrow :D

Weird & Wacky Part 1

Due to my boredom at work, I decided to abuse google some more, so it came as a suprise when I came across these:

Chicago’s Exotic Coach “limosuites” company has begun advertising their new LimoJet, a limousine made from a customized personal jet whose wings have been clipped. The LimoJet accommodates 16-18 passengers, and comes standard with 30″ custom chrome wheels, 42″ plasma television, 4 additional flat screen televisions, 4,500 Watt stereo, realistic jet sounds, and disco ball. The LimoJet should be available to rent in the next few months…

I think it would be pretty funky to drive down shar3 el 7ob in a Limo Jet…. definately pimpin’!

Then I randomly came acorss an inflatable USB Drive called the “FLASH BAG”, now this one is totally weird! I mean who the hell comes up with this stuff?!

Flashbag is a USB drive that inflates relative to the amount of data it holds. It’s an interesting concept, but doesn’t seem practical in actual use…. who would wanna carry round an inflatable device?! Imaging having it full!

I don’t think I’ll be rushing out to buy one! But the Limo Jet on the other hand is hawt :hehe:

Stay tuned for more Weird & Wacky things!
