This week I’ve been falling apart bit by bit. It all started on Sunday as I was heading to work, I got on the bus at the right time but then I got really bad stomach cramps & felt really dizzy like I was gonna pass out so I got off the bus at the next stop. I then proceeded to vomit like crazy then I felt a bit better, I then walked back heading towards where I got on the bus & again… vomited. I stopped in at the only shop open (the Butcher’s) to use their bathroom and once again, vomited but this time diarrhoea as well. I felt awful but I knew I still had to go to work as they were short staffed (I later found out that it was only going to be 1 other guy & me on until late afternoon).

So there I was, feeling like crap. I went back to the bus stop & called work saying I was going to be late cause I was sick & had to get off the bus. I waited for a while before…. yeah you guessed it… vomited again! This time not so prettily got it on myself so had to walk home to get changed. As I was walking home my stomach was killing me, getting tight & I felt like I was going to pass out. I got changed & headed out again… only to vomit all the way there!

In the end I had to call work & say I wasn’t going to be in as I felt like crap but I tried to make it in. I ended up sleeping for most of the day with a hot water bottle, a towel & a bucket by my side which came in handy as I was vomiting non-stop on & off for 3 days!

Then Monday night came along… I got up from the sofa where I was feeling sorry for myself to get some water & disaster struck. I got pins & needles all down my left leg, fell down on the ground, heard a crack on my left foot as I fell on my bum & my ankle twisted. I was screaming in pain from it hurting so much & basically sat on the floor for 5/10 mins hoping I was able to stand up & didn’t break anything. I managed to hop to the kitchen to get an ice pack & from past experience with my mom (who always seems to hurt her ankle/foot!) I knew I had to raise my foot up a bit. After an hour I still couldn’t move my toes or wiggle them, my foot became extremely swollen so I called my Mom in Paris for advice then my Brother. I ended up having to call the NHS 24 helpline to tell them what happened, they were asking me all sorts of questions then said they wanted me to go to Hospital for X-Rays.

So there I was 11pm on a Monday night heading to the Emergency Room at the local Hospital. The plus side was because I called NHS 24, I didn’t have to wait for hours, I was seen after 15 mins, the first doctor took notes of what happened & felt my leg. ankle and foot asking where it hurt. Needless to say as he was putting pressure on the sore bits, I was screaming like a baby!

I was then put in the wheelchair & my brother pushed me round to the X-Ray Department. My brother thought it would be funny to pretend he was a Formula 1 driver with me in the wheelchair & I kept shouting at him to slow down LOL. I was told that there will be a long wait for X-Rays because they were busy tonight but when I got round there, I was seen straight away. The Radiographer was HOT (my sister in law agreed!) and when he asked for my paperwork from the ER department, he joked that it said I was fighting a group of 5 ninja’s, did some cartwheeling & subcomed to my injuries which made me laugh LOL

Luckily, I didn’t break any bones or tear a ligament but instead suffered a really bad sprain which I was to rest, use ice packs, keep my foot elevated, don’t put a lot of pressure on it & most importantly take A LOT of painkillers to help.

It’s now Day 3 since the accident & my foot is still pretty swollen. I took the bandage I had on off this morning to let my foot breathe a little bit before putting it back on & was shocked at all the bruises. I have killer bruises, it hurts like a bitch & I’m running out of painkillers!

So there you have it, my week from hell. Thankfully I’ve stopped vomiting but my braincells are starting to dribble out my ears from way too much daytime TV *sigh* & I now have to figure out how the hell am I going to manage hobbling to work tomorrow afternoon & back again!

While out looking at flooring for the house renovations the other week, the car tyre on my mom’s car went flat.

No biggie right?

Well wrong! The nut bolts were too tight so we couldn’t get them off to change it. Mom then calls her insurance company as she has breakdown service with them to get them to come out to us.

This is when the problems start!

Unknowingly, my mom’s europe wide breakdown coverage was canceled in 2008 without prior knowledge. It is supposed to carry on automatically yearly, but now they are saying its void. Mom was so pissed off, we were stuck in a shopping car park in the pouring rain and a flat tyre! Mom shouted down the phone and said once her car insurance was up in October, she’ll be looking elsewhere!

We then call my brother & ask him to come rescue us, which he does 30 mins later. In the meantime while waiting, mom calls up The AA breakdown service which she pays for but on my brother’s car. She explains the situation to them and they quickly change the breakdown coverage into joint names (paying extra) so that it can be used on any car and they organized someone to be out within the hour.

My brother then arrives and manages to get the nuts off after several attempts, jacks the car up, takes off the flat tyre, puts the spare tyre on the car, tightens it all back up…. Then The AA guy turns up lol! The AA guy then checks to see if the nuts are tight enough and pumps the tyre with some air and after signing paperwork sets us on our way…. To a garage to buy new tyres!

Moral of the story?

Yay to brothers who can change tyre’s
Yay to The AA for coming out fast

At the end of January the power port of my laptop broke so I put it into a shop to fix, 2 weeks later I got it back & had to pay £115 for it as I had to get a new charger along with it!

I’ve now had the laptop back for 2 weeks & it’s broken again after the guy said he fixed it & it won’t happen again!

I’m pissed off & have to wait until Monday to go back to the shop & demand them to fix it for free!

& they better *grrr*

Update: Just took it back, it’s still under the warranty they gave so they’ll have a look again & see what’s up. I just hope they don’t come back now & say that there is another problem!

I’ve had a migrane for 14 hours now! I’ve tried sleeping, drinking lot of water, lying down in a darkened room, eating…. but nothing worked and to make matters worse, I had no pain killer at home & by the time I figured that out, the pharmacy was closed!

I woke up with the migrane at 10am and now it’s 12:30am and it’s not as bad as it has been all day, I don’t feel that my eyeballs are going to pop outta my head but I still feel all weird!

I’m going to go back to sleep now & see how I feel when I wake up

For nearly 48 hours my blog has decided to battle a bad case of PMS & take forever to load resulting in no one really being able to access my blog! I have no clue why >.<

I thought it was because of the changes I've made over the past week or so, but I switched to a blank default theme & that still won’t load therefore it’s not the theme or the plugin’s I use. The weird thing is, I can access the dashboard/admin area and type this post but viewing the theme (any theme) won’t work *cries*

It’s not a server problem (at least I don’t think so) because I host Sou’s blog and it’s working perfectly, same with my forum & a few sub-domain’s I’m working on in the background.

Therefore, I’m clueless….

Update: Finally it’s up after a few days of downtime & I’ve jazzed it up a little! God I’ve missed this place!

Just when I was going to get into bed, dearest little doggy decides to vomit on the duvet cover!

I run to get a cloth to clean it all up & flush it down the toilet when I start heeving and proceed to vomit as well after seeing/smelling other vomit!

I shouted for my mom to get me water & she burst out laughing I’m now in bed feeling queezy & the dog is snoring his head off like nothing happened!

No more little treats for him!

Really… I do! I hate the fact my lips get all chapped up, your skin gets ultra dry, your hair looks so miserable, you freeze to death like an ice cube & you slide all over the place from ice :grr:

Recently the weather has been terrible, I really don’t remember it being this cold at the same time last year! It’s so bad that I’ve resorted to keeping the heating on in my apartment 24/7 (something I never do) and covering myself with a huge ass blanket for extra warmth while sitting on the sofa, but still I’m freezing >.<

Last week, the temperature dropped to -5°c while at my grandfather’s mom’s house, we were both shivering like mad, turned the heating up & drank some hot chocolate but when going to bed it was so bad I had to sleep with socks on, plus little doggy dog was curled up next to me for extra warmth, so he was like a mini hot water bottle

Anyhooo, I don't think I have anything else to bitch about, the temperature is currently 7°c and raining. Well I could start bitching about how my favourite shoes got all wet this afternoon while out shopping with my parents (dad is back in town until Monday ), my poor shoes... I hope they survive!
