Iffyton T-Shirt Review

I recently got sent an email to review a t-shirt from Iffyton High Street via Fuel My Blog. I had a whole variety of different t-shirt’s that I could choose from within their website, but I ended up choosing a cartoon Michael Jackson one by Royal T which looked hilarious, documenting his various “looks” throughout the years.

The t-shirt arrived a couple of days ago and looked even better than it did on the website. The t-shirt is 100% cotton, high quality, comfortable and very soft on the skin which is always a good thing. When ordering the t-shirt online, I chose the wrong size (my own fault really) so instead of modelling it on myself, I used my brother as my guinea pig and now he wants to steal the t-shirt & keep it from himself :D

Washing the t-shirt couldn’t be as easy, just pop it in the machine inside out at a warm temperature with similar colors and once it has been washed, tumble dry but it cannot be ironed or dry cleaned, but if you are worried about creases, just take the t-shirt could the tumble dryer just before it’s about to stop while it’s still warm and it should be crease free (a tip my mom taught me!)

This particular t-shirt is available on the website for £12.99 which I think is great value for money due to the quality of the product. Only available in one color, a brownish/green, you can get it in sizes Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large and Extra Extra Large, so you can always find the right fit for you.

Iffyton High Street has a great variety of t-shirts available for sale, under various different brands, such as Royal T in their website which is such a great innovative design made to look like a real shopping high street. Ordering is really simple, very user friendly & easy to navigate through.

I’d really recommend you check them out & order a t-shirt! It was so good, even the dog liked it…

Midnight Munchies

I hate it when you’re tired & hop into bed for the night just to stay awake listening to your belly rumbling demanding to be fed!

My whole family is on a health kick so all the yummy goodies I had before are now banned and should be erased from my vocabulary :(

I shall now attempt to snooze and fight through the cravings

My Favourite WordPress Plugins

Ever since switching to WordPress years ago from the nasty Greymatter, I’ve loved it! I started my blog in 2003 using Greymatter but there came a time when I needed more out of my blogging software & that’s when I decided to make the switch. Sadly in the process, I lost all my archives as there was no auto-import solution (at the time) from A to B and manually adding over 200 entries was not going to happen! I kinda miss having archives from the beginning when I first started, but you can’t have everything you want!

I use ALOT of plugins for my blog & here is a list of those I couldn’t live without. If you use wordpress & are looking for plugins, then check them out…

Best WordPress Design Award

I got an email this afternoon asking me to take part in the upcoming Best WordPress Design Awards where the winners of 5 different categories get $200 and an award badge :D

So I’ve decided to take part under the Category of Best Modern & Elegant as it’s the only one that really matches my blog design, hopefully I’ll get into the Top 10 in the judging process & then it’s up to people to vote me to the winners spot *woot woot*

I’ll let you know if I’ve seen selected for the next part of the competition :D

Langoustine & Shrimp Tagliatellie

Mom bought some Langoustine’s the other day and we decided to have them for dinner tonight but wasn’t quite sure what to make with them. I googled the main ingredients that I was going to use Langoustine & Pasta and came across a recipe from All Recipes that looked quite nice so I decided to adapt it a little bit & it turned out really yummy (according to my mom & I at least) <3

Ingredients:

Tagliatellie (depends on how much you like, I used 3 swirly lumps)
2 tablespoons butter
Mushrooms (and any other veggie you want to use)
60g butter
2 cloves of garlic chopped finely (or use 2 teaspoon’s of garlic paste in a tube like I did for ease)
300g of Soft Cheese (Cream Cheese)
1 teaspoon of basil (either use dried or freshly chopped)
60 milliliters of milk
60 milliliters of water
A few drops of tabasco sauce (for a little kick!)
Langoustines & Shrimps (as many or as few as you like)

Method:

Bring to the boil a large pan of lightly salted water and add the pasta. Cook until tender (around 7-10 minutes), then drain. I had to cook the Langoustine’s as they were un-cooked, so I boiled them for 4-5 minutes and made the sauce while waiting. The shrimps I used were already cooked so only needed heating up.

While the pasta is boiling, heat the 2 tablespoon’s of butter with a little garlic in a frying pan over a medium heat adding the mushrooms & any other vegetables you like (I added cherry tomatoes). Cook until soft and transfer to a plate to rest.

In the same frying pan, melt the remaining butter (60g) with the garlic then add in the soft cheese stirring and breaking the lumps out of it while it melts. Stir in the basil and simmer for 5 minutes turning the heat down a little. Mix in the milk, tabasco & water until the sauce is smooth. Next add the Langoustine’s & Shrimp’s and heat through.

Lastly, add the tagliatellie to the sauce, serve & munch :D Here’s photos of it, drool as much as you like *hehe*
