I just got back home from watching IRON MAN and all I can say is OMFG WOW! I loved every minute of the movie and the special effects are out of this world! I wish all those gadgets and computers were actually real! I was dying to see this movie since I saw the trailer and especially since I used to watch the IRON MAN cartoons when I was a kid. Due for worldwide release on May 2nd, it was released in Paris today (which is rather surprising) and it was over-booked for the 7:20pm VOST show. We were lucky to get 3 seats where we did because those who came in after us and just before the movie was about to start were not so lucky, there were even people sitting on the floor! IRON MAN is the type of movie that you MUST check out in the cinema rather than wait for DVD version and it certainly does not disappoint!

Synopsis: Iron Man is a superhero film based on the fictional Marvel Comics character of the same name. The film is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist who is captured by terrorists in Afghanistan. Ordered to build a missile, Stark uses his resources instead to build a suit of power armor and make his escape. Returning to America, Stark improves his armor and becomes the technologically advanced superhero Iron Man. Gwyneth Paltrow plays his secretary and love interest Virginia Potts, Terrence Howard plays jet pilot James Rhodes, and Jeff Bridges plays the villainous Obadiah Stane.

I think summer is starting to reach Paris, it was 28 degrees celcius yesterday and really sunny so mama & I decided to go out for a little drive before heading to Carrefour to get some goodies. I love all the greenery around the place

Some of the houses and buildings look like you’re going back into a time warp, but I really love it here and am hating to go back to Glasgow (even though I haven’t booked my return ticket yet).

Can you tell things are a little different around here? Yes my design bug has struck again, this time with a new theme which is pretty different from my previous ones… but I’m loving this one 10x more!

As well as a new face lift, the about me page has been updated as well as other little snazzy features in the footer (a random selection of 8 blogs I love which changes on page load and the latest music I’ve listened too). I fixed some bugs what existed from the previous theme, in particular the search feature which now 100% works and changed the permalinks to include the date posts were written, so if you’ve previously linked to a post using the old permalink then you’ll get an error page (sorry, but’s a sacrifice I had to do!).

As you can see the theme is rather pastle(y) in color, maybe that’s because I’ve been munching french macaroons since I got here and I can’t get enough of them… pistascio & vanilla are my favourites :woohoo:

So there you have it, a brand new look…. what do you think?

I know I’m a big fat chicken but when someone bangs on your apartment door in a drunken state at 3:30am of course you’ll be freaked out!

It reminds me of the time I grabbed a knife and went to the door when someone tried to enter my apartment… maybe I shoulda put down the knife, but how was I supposed to know it wasn’t an innocent mistake? When I went to the door to look through the little spy hole, the dude ran away! It’s frikin scary living alone sometimes!

Another reason why I hate living in the UK

It’s one thing being really ill, but another being really ill and all alone.

Yes beeble, I’m ill again (I think my blog is over populated with my health posts, shoot me now!)

It all started with an ear infection, then my throat became dry and things were hard to swallow, then I got migranes, then my eyes became heavy and my stomach hurt, then my nose started becoming a water fall, then suddenly it was hard to breathe, and now I’m coughing up green mucus from my chest.

& I’ve just ran out of medication (well I have 6 panadol pills left, but they are crap)

I called my brother and asked him if he could come to my apartment to take me to get more medication and he said no, he doesn’t wanna drive 30 minutes into the city centre for his little ill sister!

My mom calls me every few hours to check up on me, demanding I go back to the doctor as I had broncitus before and I probably have it again. I went to the doctor at the start of the week and all he told me was to rest and drink lots of fluids… I have but I just keep getting worse. I can’t even sleep properly and end up sleeping sat up on bed for a few hours then wake up in a coughing fit before passing out again.

I called the doctors near my grandfathers house and booked an appointment for Monday so I hope he gives me some anti-biotics or something to numb the pain, it’s a bitch to try and breathe… I should get an oxygen mask or something!

& why is it that I always pick up all the frikin bugs that come along?
