You may have realised that I’ve been a little pre-occupied lately and haven’t been posting much except music, cupcakes and the odd post on a good day. The reason is that I’ve been working my butt off to finish my last 4 classes of my masters and today I got the results!
I PASSED! I’m seriously so happy because there were so many ups and downs especially when I got ill and took time out and did a semester over again cause of that. I seriously thought I messed up on a few of my projects, had several breakdowns along the way, and of course all nighters! But now the end is near and I can’t wait *jumps up and down*
I still need to do my thesis, but could only start that when I got all my marks and know that I’ll be graduating in July and now I have to try and piece together everything that I’ll be doing in my 15,000 word thesis which I decided to base on Computer Crime with the following title below:
‘What is the level of awareness and understanding amongst ordinary people of computer crime? Are they able to protect themselves against it?’
Should be interesting and of course all you readers will be my lab mice along the way as I’ll need to give out questionnaires regarding computer crime n all

The official video for her latest track has just been released, what do you think? I think it’s pretty hilarious and her body looks damn good for a 37 year old! I really like thing song and can’t wait for her album in April

Guess who is going to see Boyz II Men in concert on March 9th? *wiggles eyebrows* I’m going with a girl I went to High School with in Kuwait so it should be a good night
They’ve been my favourite Male Vocal Group since their Motownphilly days in the early 90’s and have probably every single song they’ve ever released lol, they are minus one member now though, Michael left due to back problems in 2003 and they released a new album last year titled “Motown, A Journey Through Hitsville USA” covering some of the most famous motown hits and that is what they are touring with along with singing some of their old classics.
Damn I’m excited and yes you shall be getting TONS of photos!

A few weeks ago my mom, grandfather & I decided to go shopping in Ikea and another nearby store to buy a new Washing Machine for my grandfather. As my mom flew over, she didn’t have her car… so the driving was left up to my grandfather who is 82.
As we were parking near Ikea, my grandfather didn’t even bother to look how he was parked and ended up parking at a 45 degree angle basically taking up 2 spaces and when my mom & I got out the car, we just looked at eachother like WTF and my mom told him to reverse out and park again.
After he reversed, he came in too wide and ended up hitting the back of a silver car parked next to him and he doesn’t bother to stop, he continues to drive and I’m shouting at him to stop as he was nearly on the pavement, where I was standing, but no he still doesn’t and ends up 5cm away from hitting my legs before stopping! My mom was seriously pissed off, and checked the silver car and luckily there was no damage to it but my grandfather’s expression was like “What did I do?!”.
After buying a new Washing Machine, we head back in the car, with him driving again to another store at the other side of the town. The traffic was pretty bad so he decides to take a short cut, as we were going along the road, he ends up driving in the middle of the road! My mom kept telling him to pull into the left a bit because cars and buses were coming down the other side of the road but he still wouldn’t listen! It was like he had some death wish :S
We soon arrived at the other store, and looked around for new flooring (he is getting a new kitchen installed) before heading back home. On the road back, I kept holding onto the seat and making sure I had my cell phone close to me incase anything happened. He normally drives really slowly, but for some reason he was driving at a “normal person” speed which is kinda scary.
As he was approaching a round-a-bout, there were cars infront breaking but he doesn’t start slowing down and we’re telling him to start breaking, but no! He leaves it til the last minute to break really hard and with me head butting the front seat head rest and him narrowily missing the Mercedes infront of us! But that’s not the end of it… as he was driving near home, he ends up being too far to the left and mounts the pavement before swerving to the right and saying “Oh Shit”. Finally, we made it back to his house in one piece and as soon as mom & I got out the car, we looked at eachother like “WTF IS GOING ON”. It was pretty scary, sure we were laughing about it afterwards but damn he shouldn’t be driving!
I haven’t set foot in his car since that episode and I really don’t want too again *shiver*

I’m ill (AGAIN!) for around 2 weeks a bug has been lingering and last night it suddenly hit me like a bus and I’ve been in bed ever since feeling sorry for myself, doped up with medication to help me breathe, stop my constant migrane and my bones from hurting. I can’t even eat cause I feel ill when I look at food and I can’t taste anything anyway *ugh* At least when my mom was over, she looked after me and made me chicken soup and forced me to eat something, now I have to force myself out of bed to do anything. My voice is breaking up too and I look like a mummy that just came back from the dead, NOT a good look!
I think I have a fever, my head is hot but I’m freezing… uggggh what joys

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I decided to try make Red Velvet cupcakes and give them to my Valentine’s this year (my bestest friends the twirlies, noura and shopa) to boycott men in favor of cupcakes
I decorated each cupcake differently, some with sprinkles, some with chopped strawberries and some with the names of my Valentine’s on them, but all with vanilla buttercream and the gawwjus red cupcake color
& here are the end results:
