I finally did it, I got the implant in my arm on Thursday which is supposed to help me! I got a local anesthetic in my upper arm then she got a scalpel and made an insistion before getting a huge needle with the 5cm plastic rod and putting it under my skin. I’m glad I didn’t feel the insertion
My arm is all bruised, I can hardly move it, I have a bandage all around it and it’s uncomfortable when wearing clothes or trying to sleep. After getting it done, she sat down with me and said that even though the implant is supposed to help my periods & all, they cannot tell what will happen as in different people the effects differ; so for 3 years I could go without a period, or I’ll get it every month like clockwork or I’ll bleed on & off every few days.
Time will tell & it hurts like a frikin bitch right now *sigh*

The other night I decided that I’d give my laptop a little clean out, and a little clean out turned into a full blown anorexic mission. I was having some problems with it regarding the speed and efficiency performance and noticed over the last few months that it had deterioated plus on several occasions the CPU Usage was way overboard which meant Ctrl+Alt+Delete was my best friend!
So, I put my geeky hat on and did numerous things:
1. removed all programs I no longer use & defragmented my hard drive
2. cleaned up my msn contacts & removed alot of them
3. re-arranged my music folder from A-Z
4. cleaned out the ‘my documents’ folder and put things into folders
5. ran spyware, virus and adware programs to make sure everything with nice & clean
Then the fun began:
I’ve been wanting to install Vista for a while, but heard alot of negative things about it and got told to wait til SP1 is released, but I did like the entire look of Vista, so I found a Vista Transformation Pack for XP which basically turns your XP into a Vista GUI look-a-like and it looks hawt, plus added a new desktop background and a theme for MSN Live Messenger.
I’m loving it

The sony laptop history is quite colorful. Before the hp laptops, the ones to make use of wifi technology were the sony laptops. Another added benefit is that of notebook computer batteries of sony that don’t die easily. This is why students prefer waiting for a laptops sale to get their hands on a used sony notebook instead of buying a bran new hp one.

While in Paris, my dad decided that he wanted to go on a day trip somewhere, so after a google search I found that there was a zoo around 30 mins from our house. I hadn’t been to the zoo since I was tiny and my dad had never been to the zoo, so we decided to go to Parc Zoologique et Château de Thoiry
First we went to the safari where you need to drive thru and they have zebra’s, elephants, bears, tigers… you name it! I was like a kid with candy and couldn’t stop taking photos hahahahaha then we went to the normal zoo where they had cheetah’s, wolves, goats… damn tons more I couldn’t tell you
So yah, it was fun hehehe check out the rest of the photos here.

For all those gadget girls out there, or those who like to throw tons of stuff in your handbag and spend FOREVER trying to search for something, this bag aims to help and I’m in love lol
The bag comes in 2 different sizes and various colors ranging from Black to Light Plum and costs either $95 (smaller version) or $150 (bigger version). It has several compartments for all your junk necessities and they are releasing a boutique rare leather version in the near future.
I seriously wanna buy one, they are a little plain on the outside, but that’s easily fixed.. a couple of bag charms and you’re all set and no one would know from the outside that in the inside it’s split into little compartments
I know my mom would love it since no matter what size of handbag she carries, she ALWAYS loses stuff so maybe with this, she won’t start swearing in the middle of the street cause she can’t find the door/car keys or her cell phone hahaha
So what you think?
Is it a great idea?
Would you buy one AND wear it?
Check it out @ Butler Bag

Since 4pm yesterday I’ve had the biggest migrane EVER! I couldn’t sleep til around 5am this morning because of it and I still feel like crap. I’m like a walking car crash at the moment lol
I feel like the left side of my head is getting attacked by a hammer and feel like my left eye will pop outta my head at any minute, so much so that I keep check in the mirror that everything is still where it should be!
I tried to let it pass naturally by locking myself in a dark room with no noise, but still didn’t go away so I ended up being best friends with some lovely pink Ibuprofen pills, 8 pills later… I still feel like crap!
This better go away by tomorrow, I’m due @ the family planning clinic for my arm implant.. which involves injections and blood

It was my lunch today & yummy…. so here is the recipe for you all to make it too
INGREDIENTS:
2 pitta bread (or khubbiz)
1 bag pre-packed lettuce selection
8 radishes, sliced
8 spring onions, sliced
1 cucumber, sliced
1-2 large brine cured pickles
3 tomatoes
1/3 cup finely chopped parsley
1/3 cup finely chopped mint
1 garlic clove crushed
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons ground sumac
METHOD:
Chop all the vegetables according to the above specifications and place in a large salad bowl. Crush the garlic and chop it. In a separate small bowl mash the garlic with the salt using the back of a spoon. Stir in the lemon juice and oil, beating with a fork to mix well. Pour the dressing over the salad. Grind the black pepper over the top of the salad.
Split each of the pitta’s in half horizontally so that you have 4 thin rounds of bread. Toast the breads lightly under the grill until they are golden and crisp. Break them into small pieces and crumble them on top of the salad. Mix thoroughly. Top with the sumac.
