2013 Oscar Nominations

The Academy has spoken. The nominees for the 84th Annual Academy Awards have just been announced which will air on February 24th hosted by Seth MacFarlane. I’m a little disappointed that Rust and Bone did not receive any nominations. It was by far one of the most powerful films I have ever seen and Marion Cotillard was superb!

    Glad to see the song the producers of Les Mis shoehorned into the film to give them a chance of winning “best original song” got the nod.

    I mean, it’s a flippin’ MUSICAL. It has a fair few tunes in it already! x

    Interesting Silver Linings Playbook made it on the list, I loved it however lots of those who watched it with me didn’t enjoy it at all.
